Financial Inadmissibility

Foreign Nationals may be denied entry into Canada if they do not have the financial means to support themselves or their family members. This does not apply to individuals who have claimed refugee protection.

A person can overcome financial inadmissibility by providing supporting documentary that can demonstrate that they have the financial means to support themselves or their family members while in Canada.  This can include a letter of employment, bank statements, letter of support from a family member or friend as well as any other documentation that demonstrates that the person has the financial means to support themselves or their family members.

If you are unsure as to whether or not you meet the financial requirements you may want to book a paid consultation with us.
